I'm an only child and you are as close as it gets to a sister

1. Thank you for putting up with my rants

Whether it was about stupid boys, my parents, or just how tough life was at the moment, you were always that listening ear I needed.

2. Thank you for showing me a part of God's heart with your love

You love me like Christ loves us. You were always there through my darkest times, prayed with me, lifted my spirits, and encouraged me in Christ.

3. Thank you for never failing to make me laugh, even when I wanted to cry

You have the ability to make me really laugh, like belly laugh. When I'm with you, I can laugh until I cry. Or I cry until you make me laugh. It could be the tiniest thing, but I appreciate your sense of humor.

4. You get me

Some things are just natural. Like peanut butter and jelly, we just fit. You get me like no other person. I can't really explain how, but you just do.

5. I know I can trust you

You've kept my biggest secrets. You know everything about me. You've never given me a reason not to trust you.

6. I can rely on you

Whenever I need you, I know you'll be there. Even though I'm across the country, I know I can always turn to you. You're only a text or phone call away.

7. I know you'll be with me for years to come

Let's face it, I want you at my wedding. Not just there, but right next to me as my maid of honor. I want our kids to grow up together. You've been there since day one, and I want to be your best friend forever.

8. Thank you for the many adventures

I can always count on you to be down for anything. Whether it was just a silly Walmart run or getting lost in the mountains. We've had some of the best adventures, and I can't wait for the many more to come!

9. You make me a better person

You challenge me to be better than I was yesterday. You challenge me to grow in Christ. You challenge me to step up and out of my comfort zone. I become a better version of myself, when I'm with you.

10. You are the sister I never had

Thank you for being the sister I never had. God knew we needed each other in this life. You are my sister in Christ. You are such like a sister to me.

I appreciate everything about you. I'm so thankful God brought you into my life.

I may or may not have cried while writing this.

I miss you like crazy!

I love you so much, girl!
