Nobody knows me better than you. We have been to hell and back together time and time again. We grew up together through the awkward brace faces, nerdy outfits, and crazy habits. We went to the movie theater with our parents (while of course getting yelled at for being too loud), listened to the same pop stars and had the same Jonas Brothers obsession. We got used to each other, learned each others ins and outs and grew up in the same town. No matter how much time or distance has come between us, we always find our way back to one another. Every time I return home, it is like I haven't missed a thing. We can always look back on all the dumb shit we have done over the years and do nothing but laugh.
We were there for each other through our first boyfriends (if that's what you want to call them). You are the friend that has never judged me. I've never felt so comfortable around someone in my life whether it is eating like a pig, crying like a baby, or screaming over some crazy drama. Who else would I have to share my sex life with and giggle with about my first kiss in middle school? You are the reason coming home is always special and worth the drive.
Even when I am in a new environment, you still remain unforgettable in my heart. We would always hang out with each other no matter what, even if it involved one of our parents driving us thirty minutes away. Since we have spent so many years together your family is easily just as important to me as my own.
Nobody but you will ever be able to read me just by a simple facial expression. The inside jokes are endless and they are like a code between the two of us. There were definitely times that we disliked each other because of stupid reasons, but we were able to mend our friendship like nothing had ever happened. You are like my personal therapist that can understand my thoughts more than I can myself. All of those awkward years we spent together somehow tie us together for life. You know all of my embarrassing moments.
We can be so brutally honest with each other and be able to easily take it but still know how to give the perfect compliment. I am totally comfortable sitting in silence with you for hours and doing absolutely nothing. I can nearly read your mind. We have been there for each other through every major crisis and know what to say in each situation. I simply could not picture going through the past decade without you.
