I am in no way Dr. Phil, having a degree in Psychology, or Oprah who has a degree in giving away tons of money to strangers. I am glad to say though, I have a special title as a friend to you. With saying this, I have a weakness of getting my words out orally. So, with these black Times New Roman font letters, I hope that I can somehow get out the thoughts that have been spinning around my head for the past couple of weeks.
To start off, I am not going to ask if you are okay. In this instance, no person in your shoes would be okay. Even though, I am positive that question has come out of my mouth, because sometimes that's the only way I can get through to you. Everyone on this Earth that knows you, knows that you are stronger than strong. I am going to be the one that can tell you that it is okay to not be okay, and it is okay to look for someone to talk to or help you. Your brain is a nuclear weapon, and it can destroy you in more ways than one if you keep things in.
I want you to know that I am always here, just in case in some unknown universe you don't know that. I couldn't begin to count the times that you have been there for me, but it's my turn to show my worth to you. It's my time to have a lap for you to cry on, or have a three hour long phone conversation at three in the morning. It's my turn to come pick you up and just drive or sit on my couch and watch Disney movies.
In these instances, our faith is rocked. Why would this happen, especially to you? You have done so much good in this world, and you get repaid by having this happen? It's hard to say this, but things happen for a reason. What that reason would be is unknown at this point, but sometimes you have to let go, and let God. In all of this negativity, you need to find that silver lining and bring some positive out in your life. Whether this be by having your friends close, or just being by yourself, a negative mind will suppress your life. God has a plan for everyone, and he knows how strong of a person you are.
You have gotten so far with your achievements, you can't stop now. So many people are proud of you, including me. You have worked your high school career to prove your intelligence, and now you're soaring in college. You can't let this curve in the road stop you from your dreams. You're so young and this big beautiful world is just waiting to be touched by you.
I know I haven't been in your life as much as I was at a point in time. Of course, I wish this weren't the case, but I still consider you as close to me as you were when we were crying over ice-cream. Sure, those worries about guys are so stupid now, but I hope you have someone to cry to with ice cream running down your mouth. Although this person isn't me anymore, which I know that one day it will be again, I hope they seek you the happiness you deserve within this negative situation. You have friends and family that want the best for you, and I'm here for you, whether it be now or a couple months down the road.
I wish I could express these things verbally to you, but my mind just doesn't work like that. My emotions of worrying about you have gone crazy, but I want to be the strength behind your weaknesses. I need you to know that eventually, things will be okay and the sky will once again be blue; just let things take their course.
