Tito from the hit nineties show Rocket Power always had some really strange things to say that no one understood. Little did they know, there were underlying meanings in all of his crazy, coconut-related sayings. If you look deeper inside, there are wise words about being yourself, how other people should be treated, patience, and teamwork.

1. “If you’re walking on a beach, and you step on a crab, even if you didn’t mean to, you should go back and apologize. After all, that crab could be in your soup later on.”

Apologize when you know you're in the wrong, because karma will come back for you.

2. “Sometimes, it’s best to trust the weight of experience, and I’ve got plenty of experience!”

As young adults we think we know everything, but the truth is, we don't. It's perfectly okay to rely on your parents' and elders' advice from time to time, instead of acting like a know-it-all.

3. “Fly the kite; it must not fly you.”

Take control and take charge of your life!

4. “There is no I in the word team."

Working together and building a team is a group effort - it's not all about you. Take others into consideration.

5. "Some days, your brother might need your shirt — dry cleaned, wrinkled or stained — you gotta give it to them, because some day, you might need theirs."

Always be willing and open to help others, whether it means giving up something important to you, or not. Because one day, you'll be the one in need of your friend's help. Always be grateful and kind!

6. “The coconut is always sweeter on the palm tree you can’t reach.”

The things that you desire that are out of reach always seem greater than the things you have right now. Be grateful for what you do have, and you will find success if you don't give up.

7. “The seagull that flies a crooked path, has a tough time returning home.”

If you don't keep your mind set to what your goal is, or if you stray too far from your morals, then you'll have a hard time returning to where you started. Don't be a jerk.

8. “When the sea turtle retreats into its hardened shell, just give him time – he’ll show up, especially when there’s teriyaki barbecue chicken."

When you have a fight with someone close to you, sometimes they just need a little time to sort things out in their head. Don't take it personally, just give them space and in time things will be better and brighter.

9. “The sands of the beach must change with each new wind.”

The world is always changing, don't be afraid of it - take hold of it and accept it.

10. “The pelican can fly as high as the stars, if she believes she can.”

Never give up on your dreams and passions. You set them high for a reason, and with a little hard work and dedication, you can achieve all of your goals. Mind over matter.

11. “You can’t compare pineapples and coconuts.”

Not everyone is the same, whether it be on the outside or the inside. Take pride in your uniqueness. Don't compare yourself to others - be the best YOU that you can be! After all, there's only one of you.

12. “The village of a chief who won’t forget the past, may as well forget about the future.”

If you keep holding on to the past, how can you move on to a brighter future? Take a deep breath and let it go.

13. “He who rubs his enemy’s face in the sand, gets buried in the sand with him."

Treat others the way you would want to be treated. Do not lower yourself to someone else's standards or immature behavior, because then you are just as low as they are.

14. “He who is on the canoe is responsible for the journey, whether he has a paddle or not.”

You are in charge of the direction of your life. Others will try and sway your mind, but in the end, YOU are the end all, be all of your life. Take charge.

15. “Some coconuts have thicker shells than others.”

Some people are more sensitive to certain things, and some have built these walls so high and rock-solid around them. Give them time, and they will open up.

16. “You can paint the coconut shell, but you can’t change the milk inside.”

Changing the outside to please others can never change who you truly are on the inside - stay true to that.

17. “Inside every rotten pineapple, there may be a pearl.”

Some people are hardened by the difficulties of life, and some people are just plain mean. But that doesn't make them bad people - you just may not fully understand them. Believe that there is good in everyone.

18. “Just because you’re riding the high tide, doesn’t mean you’ve chosen the right course.”

Change is inevitable. You may choose a path that is not for you, but one day you will find the right one, and you will be happy.

19. “He who misses the tide, must wait for the next moon.”

Sometimes opportunity only knocks once - don't second guess it or you may miss out.

20. “A wise man cherishes today because tomorrow he could meet the fiery end at the bottom of a volcano.”

Live every single day like it's your last. Be happy. Smile. Do something nice for someone else. Do that thing you've always been afraid to try. Believe. Have faith. Just live.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
