Do Something New

We only have one life, so it is okay to do something new from time to time. Today some would say by luck, but I will say by God's grace, I got a ticket to see the Harlem Globetrotters. I was there to sing with my church choir, but I couldn't reach anyone by phone, because I didn't have my choir director's number.

I explained my situation to one of the "Lead Ushers" and he helped me get inside. I never sang the "National Anthem" so it was my new thing for the week. However, I showed my ticket to my director and he noticed that I had a V.I.P. seat. So not only did I get to enjoy the game period, I got to have an awesome view.

I also got to experience random kindness from some of the guys who I shared the booth with. Now that I've experiened this, I will want to experience something similar again. I may not purchase V.I.P. seats, but I will at least go, and take my plus one with me, :).

If there is something that you've wanted to do, find out what you need to do, so that you can reach that goal.
