Summer time means hot weather. Nothing better than wearing dresses that keep you cool during those hot summer months. Plus size dresses give your legs room to move and your body some space to breathe. Dresses are also easy to style. They are perfect for those days where you want to be comfortable, but you also want to look cute. Add a pair of gladiator or heeled sandals and you are ready to go. Forget the jeans that dig into your belly when you sit down. You can have all the space when you wear a flowy dress. And with several different styles of plus size dresses, you will be rocking cute dresses all summer long.

Why wear dresses in the Summer

When we think of summer, we often think of flip flops and bathing suits. The stores are full of your typical summer gear. What you don’t want to miss out on are summer dresses. It’s normal for women to have a few dresses in their closet to wear every now and then. But if you aren’t wearing dresses the majority of the summer, you are missing out. Plus size dresses allow for ultimate movement. Especially when it is humid outside, you are going to be begging for some air flow. Summer dresses are made with lightweight material that is breathable and is able to move with you. That way, if there is even a slight breeze, you aren’t missing any of it. Dresses are also perfect for covering up some of the places of your body that you want to conceal. Loose, flowy dresses still have some shape, but they aren’t skin tight. This gives the ability to keep material from hugging places like your mid section or arms. Or, if you didn’t shave your legs this morning, just throw on a maxi dress and no one will even notice. Plus, it’s much cooler than putting on jeans. There are a lot of things you can wear this summer, but dresses are not a style you want to pass up.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
