I'm definitely a Disney Girl, since I was younger I've always been going to Disney World. I have so so many different memories there. Memories with my family, and memories with my best friend. I'm thankful for Walt Disney World and the memories I've made there. Here are some of the thoughts I have, while at Disney World.
1. Are my legs still attached to my body?
Going to Walt Disney World is a very tiring experience. Waking up early to going late at night, walking the whole time or waiting online for rides. You start to think about how much walking you’ve done. You start to wonder if your legs still a part of you. Anytime you can find a railing to sit on or a bench or a seat on the monorail is a blessing because you get to have feeling back in your legs.
2. Are you really standing this close to me?
When you’re standing online and the people behind you start to shove you like they think pushing you will get them farther on line, even though we are all waiting for the same thing. They still believe that pushing you will get them there. Even though you give them countless looks, they still continue to do it.
3. Where should I eat?
The Disney Property has so many different restaurants. Whether it’s eating Hibachi in Japan Pavilion at Epcot to eating Mexican Food in Mexico Pavilion to eating Tonga Toast at the Kona Cafe to eating a thanksgiving dinner at Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Tree to eating at any of the delicious restaurants at Disney Springs (formally Downtown Disney). There are many different choices and it’s definitely a struggle.
4. The Fireworks are so beautiful.
It’s so funny how fantasizing Fireworks can be. It just seems like Disney’s Fireworks are so beautiful, that just watching them you feel all the magic. From watching Tinkerbell fly down, to seeing the beautiful fireworks, it’s all an experience that makes you go wow, that was great.
5. Why is my favorite ride closing?
Yes, I understand that rides need to be fixed. It’s just so heartbreaking when it’s your favorite ride, and you're going on vacation and know that it won’t be open. It's always good to know that there is going to be something to look forward too. It just isn't fun when it's closed.
6. What’s the most Disney snack I can find, and where can I find it?
There are so many different snack options at Disney, and it really all matters where you can find those. Whether it’s the glazed almonds to Disney Popcorn to a Dole Whip to Mickey Pretzels. It’s all magical food and it’s great food. You look at all the menus to try to find what’s the best.
7. Why is everything so expensive.
Disney is definitely a magical place, but it also hurts the bank. From park tickets to food, everything is very expensive. It’s park experience, but it’s still expensive.
8. Yes, I do know all the lyrics to the ride, and I will sing them.
When on the rides at Disney, if you know the lyrics sing them loud and proud. If you are on the it's a small world to The Carousel of Progress, you sing it’s a great big beautiful on the top of your lungs. No matter what ride it is, you sing it, loud and proud. People won’t judge because they are probably singing it too.
9. Do I really have to leave?
Leaving Disney is always an emotional experience. You know you made a great experience with people who mean the most to you. I know every time I leave Disney, I always feel so sad. I’m always thankful for the people who I go with. I know that I made memories I’ll always remember. The laughs and the smiles are a great thing to see. Disney will always have a big part in my life. I always look forward to the next time I can go back and make more memories.
