I like being busy. I'm optimistic about the amount of things I can get done in one day and that tends to end with me staying up late to finish it all. I couldn't imagine my life without being busy all the time. I've learned to love coffee and function on very little sleep, but it can be tiring at points. Everyone, who tends to over-schedule themselves, have had these thoughts at one point or another.
When it's still summer and your planner is already filling up for the coming semester:
When you get your syllabi and realize you already have a paper due:
When your two favorite clubs decide to have their meetings on the same night and you have to choose:
When you accidentally schedule dinner with two people on the same night and try to make your friend groups combine:
When someone says you look a little tired:
"Wow, how do you have time for all of that?"
"I don't know, how do you handle having free time?"
When you're introducing yourself during ice breakers, and try to list all your clubs without taking up a lot of time (or forgetting anything):
When you have a rare free moment:
"I don't know what to do. Do I nap? Do I go to the gym? Do I eat?"
Then you decide the most important thing:
When Cristina spoke to our souls:
When you realize that even though you might be really busy, you wouldn't wish it to be any other way:
