Everyone has these thoughts at some point while they are studying or doing work in the library. Maybe some more than others, but these are all ones that I have caught myself saying.

1. Which Starbucks coffee should I get today?

My coffee addiction has grown as I've begun college. An average 4 cups a day seems like a good number when your constantly studying.

2. This math is hard, I'll do it tomorrow

When a single math problem takes up an entire page, you tent to just put it off until the next day. Then you think to yourself, I got this down, I don't need to practice, even when you really do.

3. I don't know where to begin

Everyone knows that feeling of when you finally sit down to begin your work, but you have so much that you have no clue where to start.

4. Can I pass the quiz without reading this chapter?

Reading quiz the following day, but not enough time to sit and read 100 pages means time to scan through the text and read the short summary in the back of the book.

5. There's no way its midnight already

You get so caught up in your work, you realize not only have you forgotten to eat, but you have forgotten to go to bed.

6. It's time for another coffee.

Another hour, another coffee!

7. Why am I singing along to this song, I gotta stay focused

It is typical to get caught up singing your favorite song while you are trying to study for an exam. Then you sometimes think, I can put the flashcard answers in a song to remember, yet it never works.

8. When the school server shuts down

This gif explains my emotions every time the server shuts down and I cant access what is due and when I should do it.

9. I take this exam in 4 hours

When it is 2 am and you have to be up in 4 hours to take a test. The question, is sleep even important ponders your brain even though your parents always told you that you should get rest and a good breakfast before test time.

10. 4 hours of sleep? I got this

Its class, library, class, library, repeat.

In conclusion, high school doesn't prepare you for all of what college has to offer you. Besides the great things, it also offers no sleep and re-reading paragraphs due to lack of sleep.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
