So the summer has ended; fun, as you know it, is over ... well, for other college students around the country. We, on the other hand, have the luxury of going to the University of Missouri, Mizzou (yes, we have a cool nickname).
Here are Mizzou students' thoughts on the first day of classes ...
Freshmen
Sophomore
Sophomores think they're living the dream, and they're FINALLY upperclassmen. First day thoughts of sophomore year consists of, "ewww freshmen," *rolls eyes* and complaints about how much they want to graduate already. Most can't stop gushing about their apartment and how 'on fleek' their parties will be.
Junior
Juniors are a bit on edge, anticipating getting into the major of their dreams, taking the GREs or LSATs, or if they're like me, contemplating dropping out and just moving into Kenzie's house and living on her couch.
Senior
Seniors, they're pretty excited and most are walking around like they rule the school. They're ignoring the future of adulthood and drown out that anxiety of anticipation by dancing it off at Roxy's or taking a drive to Trops.
Whether you're a freshman or senior, the first day of classes in the fall is an exciting one. Thoughts of our tigers beating South Carolina, tailgating, reading on the columns, getting swiped into Rollins - because sometimes you admit you miss the cheese sticks. We all know that if anyone yells "MIZ," someone will turn around and yell "ZOU."
Have a great fall semester, and be thankful you don't go to KU.
