Every summer, there is a set of songs that are constantly played throughout the summer months. These songs usually are very upbeat and make us want to dance and enjoy the nice weather. Even though it is still early into the season, it is getting pretty clear what type of songs will be played and ultimately be 2016's summer anthems. This summer, the music is more diverse than ever and not only are dance songs being produced, but more slow songs seem to also be holding their spot. Now that May is almost over it will be interesting to see what other songs will take the music industry by storm. There are already a few songs out now that are definitely not going anywhere in the next few months.

Work by Rihanna

Work by Rihanna has already been out and dominating the music charts for a while now. Work is Rihanna's leading single off of her latest album 'Anti'. Not only does Work have Rihanna's vocals but it also has a verse from rapper Drake. This fun and catchy dance song definitely will be a staple for this summer. If you haven't heard this song yet I definitely recommend you go listen to it like now.

Panda by Desiigner

Panda has taken over the rap and hip-hop charts recently. Desiigner released his first hit 'Panda' a couple of months ago and it finding great success. Now that he is signed to Kanye West and the public knows about his music it will be very interesting to see if he will be releasing any more smash hits for this summer.

Dangerous Woman by Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande has been producing hit after hit for the past couple of years, and is no stranger when it comes to making summer hits. One of her most popular songs, 'Problem' featuring Iggy Azalea was a huge success one summer a year or two ago. While Problem was more upbeat, Dangerous Woman is slow and very sensual. Now that Grande just released a whole new album, I can't wait to see if any of her other songs will take over the summer.

7 Years by Lukas Graham

Another song that is a shocking smash hit for this summer is 7 years by Lukas Graham. This song is also a slower song like Dangerous Woman. Lukas Graham is a relatively new artist and only has two studio albums. Out of his songs not too many have seen mainstream success, but now that 7 Years is out many more people are starting to recognize the talent. It's nice to see that there is a wider variety of songs that are becoming popular this summer.

One Dance by Drake

Last but not least, Drake is also known for releasing a lot of hits. Recently he has released another studio album with one song in particular that has taken the world by storm. One Dance has barely been out and it is already topping the charts. This song is clearly a dance song with catchy hooks and a Jamaican influence. Every time you hear this song you can't help but to dance.

If you all haven't heard any of these five songs I definitely recommend that you all go listen to them as soon as possible. These songs will definitely brighten up your summer!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
