“This is for you kid”
This is for being my best friend, my shoulder to cry on. This is for all the late night calls of me thinking I’m dying when I’m really just coughing. This is for all the times that I’ve thought I wouldn’t make it but you make sure I do. Here are the 5 things that I love most about you and that I’ve learned over the last 6 years.
1. There is actually someone as crazy as me out there and that is you!
I didn’t think it was possible for someone to be as crazy as me, but you made it possible! I’m the only one (so I thought) that can’t sit through a movie without talking. I thought I was the only one that actually loved to watch kids movies more than kids! I’m not the only one that actually loves to run in the middle of the street to see who will get hit first. I’m not the only one that likes to dress up for Halloween and is 19. Now, I’m not talking like a slutty costume I’m talking about debating whether tellitubbies, or minions would be a plausible costume.
2. I learned that I don’t even have to turn on the oven to burn down a kitchen.
Toasters are a great way to try and burn down a kitchen without paying attention. Also, Microwaves do not like aluminum foil. But, you have always been there to smack me in the face and say what are you thinking kid?! Also, side note: if you turn on the stove and do not place anything on top of it smoke comes out, and it’s enough to set off the fire alarms!3. Movies are very interesting when your friend’s can’t sit still….
It’s so entertaining to try and watch you sit silently to watch a movie without spazzing out. Popcorn is a great look on you just FYI. Also, slushies make a great exfoliater4. I have learned that there is someone that I can trust with every little secret I have, and also talks me out of doing insane things!
I love the times that I text you debating whether or not to flip on someone, call the cops, or just handle it myself. Usually, I am told “ Buddy, listen you need to just chill… I know I know you’re stressed but..” Even if I told you something that my mom SHOULDN’T know you end up telling me you have to tell her or else it could get worse.5. I have more than 1 set of parents..
I think after just starting to walk into your house whenever I am near by would make it my house... Nope, your parent's allow me in even if you aren't home. I love hanging out with your dad, your mom is okay.... but your dad makes me love myself even more than I do!
I need you to know that everything in this article is true! I need you to just stick it through and love me! Even if I dress you up as a Barbie, or a minion or even a Rocky Horror Picture Show character!
