No one likes goodbyes, ever, unless they are someone who absolutely repulses you;although, in general goodbyes are sad and lonely. I personally am not a person who likes to reveal any type of emotions, but when you have special people in your life that you have to say goodbye to, emotions always follow. Goodbye is not forever, just temporary. Temporary meaning, winter break, which is over a month long of separation from your college family.

When you live with your best friends, not seeing them everyday is so weird. They are always there when you wake up, and when you go to sleep. They listen to all your pet peeves of the day and in general, and lift you up when a confidence booster is needed. There is always someone there to come home to, and engage with. The feeling of never being alone, can be sometimes overwhelming, but at the same time it is a gift, no one wants to be alone in this world, at least I do not. “It’s hard missing someone, but if you miss someone that means you’re lucky, it means you had someone special in your life, someone worth missing.”(One Tree Hill)

When you get to start over at a new place, and you can be anyone you want, it can be frightening, but it is also a blessing at the same time. New beginnings can be unnerving, but when something scares you, that means you should challenge yourself even more. “ You have one chance, one life. And what you do with that is up to you.”(One Tree Hill) When you take chances, the more you risk, the more potential you have of gaining something great. Taking chances on people can end in a two way street, sometimes you end up lucky. Well, I took a chance, I put myself out there, and I came out smiling on the other side. I took a chance and I found my people, and that is a great feeling. “Don’t be afraid to stumble and fall. Sometimes the greatest rewards come from doing things that scare you the most.”(One Tree Hill)
