After about the first week of being home for the summer, you started counting down the days until you were back at school. Although you can’t wait to be back to living life parent-free, there are some things you might miss about living at home.
Your mom doing your laundry for you
It’s not like she did it all the time, but when she spontaneously washed and folded your clothes, it was amazing. Going back to school means you’ll be back to forgetting to do laundry until you've run out of clothes.
Wi-Fi that actually works
You definitely aren’t prepared for the infuriating crap that your school passes off as Wi-Fi.
A fridge full of groceries that you didn’t have to pay for
Back to your starving student budget; don’t we all wish we could have a refrigerator full of Trader Joe's.
Your own personal bathroom
Okay, if you’re living in an apartment you may have your own bathroom, but living in the sorority house means you're back to sharing bathrooms and the oh-so-coveted mirror space.
Your hometown friends
Although you may not hang out with all of your friends from high school, you definitely spent some time with your besties and you’ll miss reminiscing with them all the time.
Your bigger-than-a-twin bed
That queen bed was nice while it lasted…
Your abundance of closet space
You honestly have no idea how you’re going to cram all your clothes in that tiny closet in your apartment.
Home-cooked meals
You can try and make the same meals as mom, but you’ll probably burn it or add too much salt—Easy Mac seems to be the best meal choice for you.
Being able to walk around naked
Clothing is now necessary everywhere; you don’t want to scare your roommates!
