Celebrating moms should be a routine affair. We should celebrate our moms for more than just one day in May. It's easy to forget the little things they do for you, but it's important to remember the impact those little things have. So here's some recognition for moms (especially mine) and some appreciation for everything they do.
1. First and foremost, thank you for giving life to me. It wasn’t easy and it's debatable if it was worth it.
2. Thank you for cleaning up all things that came from me. You’re the real MVP.
3. Thank you for staying up with me until I fell asleep.
4. Thank you for setting up all those playdates and sleepovers, even though we were more of a headache than fun for you.
5. Thank you for dealing with all the tantrums I have had (sorry in advance for any more to come).
6. Thank you for being my chauffeur for the last 16 years of my life (sorry there was no tip).
7. Thank you for washing all of my things (no matter the state of the article).
8. Thank you for always having food to give me and everyone else (extra points for the good snacks).
9. Thank you for allowing me to make mistakes and learn from them.
10. Thank you for helping me with my homework (even when we both don’t know the answers).
11. Thank you for always listening to me vent (and having advice for everything).
12. Thank you for teaching me to be honest.
13. Thank you for knowing what is best for me (especially when I didn’t).
14. Thank you for telling me when I’ve done something wrong, but also praising me when I’ve done something right.
15. Thank you for drying all my tears. I knew I could always count on you.
16. Thank you for inspiring me to be strong.
17. Thank you for being the best role model.
18. Thank you for teaching me beauty comes from the mind and soul, not the mirror.
19. Thank you for all the sacrifices you have made (for everyone).
20. Thank you for never complaining. I know I don’t make it easy.
21. Thank you for putting me before yourself. That’s the greatest gift I’ve ever received.
22. Thank you for knowing me better than I know myself.
23. Thank you for challenging me (no matter the task).
24. Thank you for being a perfect example of grace and kindness.
25. Lastly, thank you for being my mom. I couldn’t imagine life without you.
Don't forget to thank your moms for ALL the things they do. It's a hard and under-appreciated job they have. Show your mom you love her just as much as she loves you.
