Okay, so I guess that some of these are better left to be romantic, but honestly, I want some of these to be completely platonic, between close friends to show a relationship's strength, without it having to be a romantic commitment. And saying "Well, just get in a relationship if you want it so bad." It's really not that easy in today's world.
1. Hugging
Okay, yes this is generally platonic, but I mean like a hug that warms your heart because it's just the right length of time.
Young girls do this every day, but as adults, holding hands equals a romantic commitment, for some reason.
3. Slow Dancing
Dancing isn't always the most romantic thing, especially when there is Fetty Wap... or The Weeknd playing in the background. No offense.
4. Giving Flowers
Cutesy- Romantic stuff? Nah. I'd give flowers to my best friend :)
5. Meeting the family
The scariest part of a romantic relationship, I'll admit, but why should we only introduce our significant others to our family?
6. Going on Dates
One thing I would really wish is that friend dates were more common place in society.
7. Cuddling
I'm getting very touchy with this one (pun intended), but sometimes, you just want to be held by someone that won't try to see what's in your jeans.
8. Living Together
I know there are roommates and all that. And this is no different, just two friends living together. Sharing adulty responsibilities.
9. Raising a family
I think that being able to raise a family doesn't need a couple, friends can do that too.
10. Saying "I Love You"
It's hard to say "I love you" without it getting weird between friends, because we have made it strictly romantic. But you can say the three words to family, and it's platonic.
