Netflix. The vast database of movies, shows, cartoons, and anime. There are endless possibilities to what you can watch! Here are a few of my all time favorites and why.

1. Once Upon A Time

Once Upon A Time is a wonderful show following a 28 year old woman named Emma Swan. Emma is celebrating her birthday alone, when a young boy knocks on her door claiming to be her son! She takes this boy back to his home in Storybrooke, Maine, to find out he is convinced that all of the people in this town are cursed storybook characters. What? Well its a fantastic show that truly makes you believe in magic again.

2. Glee

Glee is a show about a group of kids on the bottom of the school food-chain. They find that they all have one thing in common! They can sing. With the help of Will Shuester, Spanish teacher, and previous national show choir champion, they slowly learn to love themselves for who they truly are. Different and special.

3. Psych

Psych is a show that follows Shaun Spencer, a man who was trained when he was a boy to notice things other people didn't. Using this power to help solve cases for the Santa Barbara police department, he must convince them he is a Psychic to stay out of jail.

4. Friends

Friends was a show about 6 middle aged friends who live in New York city. Rachel, the spoiled girl whose daddy just cut her off. Chandler, the sarcastic man who specializes in statistical analysis and data reconstruction, who really just wants to work in advertising. Pheobe, the massage therapist who had a hard past. Joey, the struggling actor. Monica, the chef who had OCD. And Ross, Monica's older brother who is a paleontologist.

5. Fuller House

Fuller House! The amazing spin off of Full House, which aired in the 90s. This show is full of nostalgia, shenanigans, jabs, and quips. Its full of laughter and fun for the whole family!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
