Whether your sister is older or younger, having a sister is always a gift. Having a sister means always having someone to look after, respect, love, and cherish. I have finally been able to put into words of what I would love to tell my sister.
Thank you
Thank you for your bold smile and your endless laughter. When I needed someone to take my mind off of the more important things in life, it was always a relief that I was able to count on you to help me have fun and live life with a little more spontaneity. (Not that I really need that much help.)
You are so smart
Yes, as much as I hate to admit it, you are quite the little genius. The way you overthink everything from which shoes to wear to figuring out which would be the best way to organize my closet has pushed me to always be extra careful. While your OCD ways might have caused me to laugh, your brain really is something else. Thank the Lord we have someone in the family who can calculate math and money well because we all know you’re going to be the one handling my finances.
You are absolutely crazy
You always act all shy and innocent when you first meet someone. But I know the real you: how you have no boundaries, love making jokes, and can cook the best grilled cheese ever. But hey, I know it takes time for you to open up to others, but when you do, it is such a blessing to have someone just as crazy as I am around.
You are supported
You have loving parents and siblings that will push you to become the best in whatever occupation you decide to be when you grow up. You have endless possibilities to do absolutely anything you want. You’ll figure out what is it that you were meant to do and I cant wait until you finally figure it all out in the long run.
You are BEAUTIFUL
You have such an honest joy about you that is obvious to all of those around you. You shine for Christ with the way you treat others and how genuinely happy you are. Your looks are beautiful, but your heart is gold and that is what is most important.
Thank you for being one of the biggest blessings in my life. You have taught me so much from how to watch over someone to how to have fun in the weirdest situations. Thank you for being who you are and remember that you are incredibly beautiful, inside and out. You are blessed and you are truly priceless. Thank you for loving me and for showing me what it’s like to have a forever friend. I can't wait to see how our relationship changes over the years because I know it can only get better from here.
Much love and adoration,
Your older sister.
