To be completely honest, I'm not sure what I should write about this week. With the election results, and everyone's reactions, and wild feelings, I think it's best that we all just take a break from the conversation. Take a break to unwind. Take a break to smile. Take a break to laugh.
1. Look at some kittens
The internet is famous for its abundance of cute kitty pictures–perfect for de-stressing!
(or) Look at some puppies
Because puppies!!!!
2. Watch your favorite TV shows
Not only is this a good pass-time, but you can wrap yourself in a bundle of blankets and enjoy some alone time.
3. Color!
Sometimes you need some brain-numbing activity when all of those racing thoughts start to trip you up. And hey, when you're full of passionate emotions–CREATE!
4. Walk around
Without anywhere to be, or anywhere to go, take some time to enjoy the simplicity of nature. How beautiful everything truly is around you. Maybe this can help bring some inner-peace.
5. Write it down
Writing down your feelings in a diary or a journal does wonders for your stress levels. Don't bottle it up!
6. Listen to music
Listen to your favorite songs! Music can physically change your mood! It's pretty incredible, if you ask me.
7. Love one another
(Hey, look! Kitties again!)
Love one another! No matter how you're feeling, love is always the answer. Gather with your friends and/or family and make some awesome memories.
