The retail industry is one of the leading job fields in our society. No matter if you plan on working for a corporation all your life, or you're just trying to work through school, these are 11 things you can relate to if you work in retail:

1. When customers are angry that you don't stack all the coupons.

In what world is that okay? A stores job is to make money, not lose it.

2. When they are rude when you ask if they need assistance, then come back and ask for help.

They always come back even when they threaten to never come back.....

3. When customers complain about your prices.

Why you shopping here tho?

4. When customers say "I don't have an email" when you ask for it.

As they are playing on their smartphone. Okay.

5. When customers look for coupons on their phones where there is a line.

And millennials are self-absorbed?

6. When waiting on customers to leave who are "just looking"... After you've closed.

There's a reason we close at a certain time, and it's not so you can keep shopping.

7. When customers talk on the phone as they are checking out.

If you're gonna complain about the customer service these days, try making it easier for us to converse with you.

8. When kids mess up the product placement.

You are not helping.

9. When adults mess up the product placement.

You are GROWN.

10. When you already enter in the cash they are paying with, then they say "Here's 10 cents."

Is this a problem for anyone else or is it just me?

11. When the total is $10.98 and they hand you a hundred dollar bill.

Especially when you just opened.

Even though we all relate to these statements we can all agree we love our job.Working in retail is a great experience. Getting to talk to new people everyday is (mostly) a blessing, and all in all every sales person can say the experience of helping customers is (usually) rewarding.
