19 Things That Happen On Family Vacations

Ahhhh, family vacations. They are rare, crazy, and usually a s*** show. Here are 19 things that are always bound to happen when you put your family together for a week in a foreign city.

1. Your mom takes a picture of everything with a pulse.

2. You actually eat a real meal with your family, that doesn't consist of microwaveable food.

3. Your family getting embarrassed when you dance in public. Like, just let me do me dude.

4. Your mom sends back her meal at the restaurant because it wasn't 100% right.

5. Pretending you don't know your parents when they pull out a tourist map.

6. Your parents never understanding your references or jokes. It's cool, I still think I'm funny.

7. Your parents never believing your sense of direction. I swear this is the right way to the hotel guys.

8. Don't.Pull.Out.The.Selfie.Stick.

9. "For the love of God, Mom, that is not how you use Google Maps."

10. The kids always act like they know everything about the city that they have never even been to.

11. Family vacations equals parents paying for food. #Blessed

13. "Let's take a selfie!" -Mom

14. You and your dad somehow always manage to sneak away from your mom and do something she would frown upon.

15. Having to sleep on a pull-out couch.

16. Someone most likely forgot their phone charger.

17. Having to wake up at 7 a.m. and not coming home to the hotel till 10 p.m. We.Stop.For.No.One.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
