Makeup has been around for a long time but only recently has it become a huge phenomenon. Whether you're watching makeup tutorials on Youtube or waiting to buy the next Kylie Lip Kit. To some people makeup might not be a big deal, but makeup fanatics are able to find joy in things other people may simply overlook. Here are some things only makeup lovers understand.

1. Avoiding Ulta and Sephora at all costs when you are on a budget, because you have no self-control.

2. Being complimented on your makeup.

3. Trying to replicate a makeup tutorial video you watched.


4. Finally perfecting your winged eyeliner.

5. Receiving a Sephora or Ulta gift card.

6. When someone asks you to do their makeup.

7. Walking into any makeup store for one thing and leaving with a bag full of stuff.

8. When you're messing around with your makeup and get slightly carried away.


9. Successfully mastering contouring.

10. Free samples.

11. Appreciating the beauty of a new product.
