A few days ago, Ellen DeGeneres announced that she was unsure of the future of her show, "The Ellen Show." The show first aired on September 8, 2003. That's a whole 15 years of "The Ellen Show" being around. I can't remember a life without Ellen, and many things were invented and introduced to the world after the show, but just how many things?

Everyone's most loved social media platform wasn't launched until October 6, 2010.

3. My sister

My sister was born in October of 2003. I can't imagine life before her (mainly because I was 5 when she was born), and I really can't imagine a life without Ellen.

4. Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande was born in 1993, but her career didn't start until 2008.

5. YouTube

The land of Vine compilations, beauty bloggers, and Vlogmas wasn't launched until December 2005.

6. Facebook

Facebook wasn't launched until February 4, 2004.
