A snowstorm swept through the North over the weekend giving many states almost 2 feet of snow. Now those who have been through snowstorms before now that snowstorms can be a nuisance because when it is done, people have to worry about shoveling driveways, cleaning the snow off cars left outside, and worry about getting frostbites, when in reality all you want to do is to sit down and relax. But question is what can you do during a snowstorm? Well, next time there is a snowstorm and you sit and wait for it to pass, consider one or two of these many activities:
1. Catch up on television shows:
If you missed a few episodes of your favorite television series over the past couple of weeks then now is the time to do it. Start binge watching "Grey's Anatomy" or "Game of Thrones." Those shows are coming back soon and I hear they are supposed to be EPIC!
2. Read a book:
Relax your mind, get on a sofa or lay on top of your comfy bed and read a book. You can learn a lesson or two from reading whatever book you have in your hand.
3. Do homework:
Spring semester has started for many college students and the best thing to do during a snowstorm is to complete any assignments before it is too late. You never know when your professor may hand out a pop quiz.
4. Write a story:
If you love to write, the best thing to do to put your hobby into action is write a story. Think of something that has never been written before and put it down on paper! You never know, you may be the next Charles Dickens.
5. Stay warm:
The best advice to give to anyone this winter is to stay warm. Who knows how many snowstorms there will be in the near future. There could be another one or two or maybe none. But always be prepared in the winter. Wear a jacket, some gloves or mittens and covered shoes that keep those toes warm. It is cold now, but next thing you know spring is here and the temperature will be in the 60’s and 70’s.
