I am not a Trump supporter and Clinton isn't my number one choice for president either, but she is by far a better choice than Trump. I usually keep my political voice to myself because I am open to others opinions, but sometimes others aren't open to my opinions or my stance. However, I am choosing to share my views right now because the presidential debate that aired on Oct. 19, 2016 was one of the most angering things I've ever watched. On this stance alone Hillary should be president because she had the patience and will to hold back like a true woman!
Okay, I get it. Hillary's done some shotty things in her political career, I'm not sure about these emails or some of the choices she's made in her lifetime, but she's a politician, and politicians have sketchy backgrounds. They've had to make decisions in a pinch and sometimes (as with everyone) bad decisions can circle back around to bite you in the butt. As far as her stance on her husband's extra-marital affairs, heck yeah she was mad and those women were sluts and hoes and whatnot. She is a wife and a mother to Bill's child, I would be pissed too. Not a woman out there in a marriage or committed relationship wouldn't be angry in that situation. I am on her side on that and I do not believe she is being hypocritical towards Trump's view or against feminists around the globe, I believe she is and was a woman scorned and felt pretty crappy about it.
Back to the debate. Trump was out of line, he was childish, he was moronic, he is an awful candidate. Granted he is a business man, yes, stick to that sir, you are NOT a politician it is very clear. He blamed Hillary for things that were unnecessary. He interrupted her and tried to bait her to look like a bitch or an "emotional" woman. Please! We need some emotion in the White House! We do not need Trump ruling over us. I know as a working class, woman, lesbian, mother, I will be screwed. I just can't get on board with his little-boy act. Alec Baldwin has his impersonation down to a T. He says all of these awful things that can only be construed as comical and therefore the actors and acts of SNL have to take advantage of the real-life train wreck in front of us.
So, during the three minutes of the debate that I could tolerate I have made my decision on who I would like to vote for, (hint: it's not Trump). I mean a woman president would be amazing and the way Hillary's been taking these low blows, these horrible debates, a cheating husband, an extensive political background, yes I think I'll take her any day.
