Many people use the word "perfect" a lot whenever someone does something good or right. The word "perfect" is also used for having a body, looks, grades, job, talent, intelligence, relationship etc. They also say they want the "perfect" things and a "perfect" life. What is the meaning of perfect? Why do we tend to use that word a lot?
Dictionary.com says that perfect means "entirelywithoutanyflaws, defects, orshortcomings." I wonder if this is even possible. After a lot of analyzing, I feel that we are all human beings. We humans are good in a lot of ways. We are capable of doing so many things. But we can't do everything. We can't know all the things in the world. We tend to make a lot of mistakes.
People who think they are so "perfect" always make fun of people who, according to them, are "not-so-perfect," meaning people who don't have the best of everything. But they don't understand that the "perfect" people have the biggest flaw: their ego. The "not-so-perfect" people, whose only flaw is not having the best of everything, don't have such an ego! So as of what I see, all human beings have some kind of flaw within themselves.
So the truth is, "Nobody's Perfect!" The word "perfect" doesn't exist in my dictionary! We all tend to wish for a "perfect" life, but in reality, life itself has ups and downs. While you wish for a wonderful life with no sadness, the truth is, while there is happiness, there is bound to be pain. And for all those people who wish they could be "perfect" like others, well let me tell you that, despite getting all the things you want, things wouldn't be the same, as there will be more flaws within you, such as having an ego. Mistakes are something that is common within all human beings, and you should understand that.
So please don't wish for a "perfect" anything! In fact, don't use the word "perfect." Please take that word out of your dictionary. We are all wonderful in a way! We are all human beings and despite having some good stuff within us, we also make a lot of mistakes! This is the reality that we must of all face!
Just be who you are, cuz I say this again... "Nobody's Perfect!"
