The ultimate study playlist is composed of 16 songs that will have you energized and amped up to get ready for finals. This is a personal playlist I listen to before any exam and I have to to say I haven't failed one yet, so it must be working. For those that like to move while studying this playlist is definitely for you. Let's see if it works for you:

1. "Work" ~ Rihanna ft. Drake

Rihanna song "Work" has deserved to top number one on charts for the span of time that it has. This song makes you want to move, the drowsyness you had will be gone. This is a energy boost. A woman I talked to said she was running a marathon and play "work" on repeat as motivation to continue the race so maybe, this can motivate you to work, work, work.

2. "Charged Up" ~ Drake

Honestly any songs of Drake's will have made it to this playlist. It's something about his music that just has you dancing and rapping in your seat. He makes great music that has you moving and ready to approach anything feeling tough as hell.

3. "Jumpman" ~ Drake ft. Future

I told you Drake will continue to make it to this list because you can't choose wrong with any of his songs. So LISTEN!!

4. "Alright" ~ Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick's song is like a motivational anthem! If you're stressing over a test Kendrick's response will always be "You gon be alright!" And you are, so don't work, listen, let the music motivate you.

5. "Ultralight Beam" ~ Kanye West

I just really love this song by Kanye so I won't to share this beautiful creation of ULTRALIGHT BEAM.

6. "Purple Reign" ~~ Future

A great song that will have you want to drop a couple of verses of Future's into your paper or notes. Lol that will surprise all your teachers.

7. "Formation" ~ Beyonce`

Formtion is this years anthem for all women, going to an all girls college like me where you have to be ready to show your strength, well get in formation ladies we are ready to demolish all exams!!

8. "Cut it" ~ O.T. Genesis ft. Young Dolph

This song has become one of my personal favorites because my own flesh and blood produced this song (producer ITREZ BEATZ), so not to do a plug for him but uh plug!! lol, but honestly it is a wonderful and upbeat song.

9. "Kiss it Better" ~ Rihanna

By FAR one of my favorite songs on Rihanna's new album, this is a MUST listen.

10. "Ugly" ~ Fantasia

On top of Fantasia being my favorite female artist she has this great song out that introduces herself as an R&B Country singer and it's surprisingly really, really good.

11. "I Still Love You" ~ Jennifer Hudson

American Idol has me in my Fantasia and JHud feelings so this is a wonderful moment to drop my favorite JHUD track that will probably make you cry all over your notes.

12. "Mascara" ~ Jazmine Sullivan

Jazmine has done it again, Mascara is a must listen to. This is by far the best song on her album, women listen.

13. "Desperado" ~ Rihanna

Rihanna is just hot this year, so we have to give her props on her ANTI album because every song on that album has been on my playlist. I listent to it everytime I study or do homework.

14. "Low Life" ~ Future ft. The Weeknd

Future is a really good artist, kind of lol, but my bestfriend listens to this song all the time and I just really love moving to it. I think I was a rapper in my past life.

15. "Panda" ~ Desiigner

I just really want to start dancing when I hear this song. This song has made my sleepy moments hype!! Like it's never a moment where I have not got up to dance to this song and not been suffering from an adrenaline rush afterwards.

16. "Down in the DM" ~ Yo Gotti

Another song, that will have you up and at it!! Literally, every song here will probably have you wanting to dance rather than study. SORRY. Not.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs.
