Summer 2016 has arrived, which means more days on the beach and driving with the windows down all day long. How can you do all those things without some great songs to listen to? Here's my playlist to jam to during the summer of 2016.

1. "Drunk in Love" by Beyoncé

You really think I'd leave out Queen B?

2. "Sugar How You Get So Fly" by Sugar Fix

This song has a solid beat and catchy lyrics that you can sing all the way down the highway.

3. "CAN'T STOP THE FEELING!" by Justin Timberlake

New music by JT and summertime... can it get any better than this??

4. "Gold" by Kiiara

What she is saying in the chorus, I have no clue, but this song has the summer vibes.

5. "Somewhere On A Beach" by Dierks Bentley

I'm wishing I was somewhere on a beach...

6. "My House" by Flo Rida

How can you not dance and sing along to this one?

7. "House Party" by Sam Hunt

If you listen close enough it sounds like Sam is singing to you..

8. "Work" by Rihanna ft. Drake

Rihanna and Drake, the best combo for a summer dance party.

9. "Promiscuous" by Nelly Furtado ft. Timbaland

You can't have a summer playlist without a throwback.

10. "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" by Adele

Adele nails it (as always) with this upbeat and sassy track on her new album. You CAN NOT forget this one on your summer playlist.

11. "T-Shirt" by Thomas Rhett

I want to wear Thomas Rhett's t-shirt..

12. "Alarm" by Ann-Marie

Just listen to it. I promise you'll just want to play it on repeat 100 times.

13. "Cake By The Ocean" by DNCE

Thank goodness for this beat... and Joe Jonas.

14. "Life is a Highway" by Rascal Flatts

And I'm gunna ride it all night long.

15. "All Summer Long" by Kid Rock

You can't have a summer playlist without the number one summer song of all time!

Get your groove on with your playlist this summer 2016. Have a great summer friends.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
