i guess its true, what "they say" about your first love. some of the feelings never really go away. some do, but the few that dont, are usually the ones that you wish would. the ones that go away are missing them every second you aren't physically together, or the feeling of complete peace knowing you get to come home to them every day. but the ones that dont go away is the pit in your stomach any time you hear their name, or every time you see it pop up on your phone. the feeling of getting the best news of your life, unlocking your phone, typing in their name only to remember you had to block them so you wouldnt send them your life updates. the memories that dont go away, yet hide in the deepest parts of your brain, only to come back up when you have had one too many drinks on a friday night. the split second in the morning when you wake up and roll over and remember when they used to be there. when they used to be the first thing you saw in the morning, and the last thing before you fell asleep. and then you get out of bed, and go on with your day with the hopes that you won't hear that song, or smell that smell that brings you right back to the first place you met, or that car ride on that hot summer day singing your hearts out with his left hand on the steering wheel while the other one grasped around your left leg so hard that you thought it would be impossible for his finger imprints to ever go away. but they do, they fade with the moments you will continue to make together. but the memories. the feelings. the pit in your stomach. and the aching in your heart. that remains. always. so yeah, i guess its true, what "they say about your first love. some of the feelings never really go away.
