When venturing off to college, there is no telling what you may experience in the next four years or so. You will meet some of the greatest people, and quite possibly, some of the worst. College is a crazy beautiful experience that every young adult should have the pleasure of experiencing and when you experience this life changing journey, there is no one better to experience it with than your roommates.
Your roommates are your family away from home and your constant support system. They will pick you up when you are down, complain about life when venting sessions are in need, support you in all your decisions (good and bad) and will always be there to make sure you have a friend.
You and your roommates can be the closest and greatest relationship you gain while in college. They may even become close to a sister to you, or borderline girlfriend depending on how much you text and call one another when apart. Your roommates will grow to know you in and out and experience all the weird quirky things about you and still love you anyway.

The list could go on and on, but the point is, your roommates are like the backbone of your college career. They connect to every great story, experience and trial you will face as you go on this once in a lifetime journey to adulthood and they should be celebrated.
