You never expect to find anything unexpected while cleaning out your room. Maybe, you think, I might find that lost shirt I lost, but the things you find will surprise you beyond belief. Here are the 4 things I found in my college dorm room while moving out...

1. Snacks

While cleaning my room, I found snacks galore. However, they were not as expected... merely crumbs and old chips. I keep my room tidy, so imagine my surprise when I pulled a bag of popcorn (full) from underneath my bed.

2. Clothing

While searching my drawers and cleaning out my closet, I found things that I didn’t even know existed. From a lost shoe that had disappeared months ago, to a pair of shorts I didn’t even know I owned, the hidden treasures were very pleasant surprises.

3. Thumbtacks

When cleaning out my room, I was very unpleasantly surprised by thumbtacks hidden in our rug. Imagine my level of happiness when I pulled a thumbtack out of the bottom of my foot... keep your friends close but your thumbtacks closet ladies and gents.

4. Pens and Pencils

I went through loads and loads of school supplies throughout the school year, constantly falling victim to losing the one pencil I actually used. To my luck, my lucky pencil was pulled out of the air conditioning vent, and will probably be lost within the week. Besides that, I had at least 12 pens and pencils below my bed and desk that were just waiting to be discovered
