I don't say it nearly enough, but thank you. Thank you for standing by my side throughout the hardships and being there for the good times, as well. I know I make it seem like what you do for me goes unnoticed but I promise that's not true. I am so grateful for every single thing you have ever done for me.

You always provided me with everything I needed and wanted. You blessed me with such an amazing childhood and life and I wouldn't trade any of it for anything in the world.

Thank you for pushing me to do my best in every situation I put myself in. Even if I don't get the desired grade on a test, you'll ask me if I tried my best and say that that's all that matters. This really helps my self-esteem because I don't want to disappoint you guys after everything you have blessed me with.

Although I don't always see it in the moment, I know every decision you make for me is only because you want what is absolutely best for me. I'm sorry for yelling at you when I don't understand why you're doing what you're doing or why you're yelling at me, I get it now.

You guys have been such a constant in my life. Some "friends" come and go but you guys are always there; you always have been. How nice is it that I have two best friends that I know will always be there for me? I'm so lucky to have such great parents whom I know I can go to for anything without fear of being judged or ridiculed. Not everyone my age can say they genuinely believe they have "cool" parents, but I can!

I know I'm not always the easiest kid to raise, but I'm trying my best. Please keep in mind that I'm still a teenager and I am going to make mistakes.

Through all of this, thank you for being the best parents a girl could ask for. No matter what, I promise nothing you do for me goes unnoticed. I notice it all but sometimes I'm just a stubborn 19-year-old and don't want to accept it and show my gratitude. I am forever grateful for everything you both have provided me with thus far in life.

I love you. Thank you for being my parents.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
