The Struggles Of Every Week, As Told By Toddlers

You know exactly what I'm talking about.

The Struggles Of Every Week, As Told By Toddlers
No Camels

We ALL know the struggle we feel every week (even if time is literally just something we think of?). I'm here to help us visualize that struggle with the help of some cute little toddlers, and maybe that will help you get through another week of "ugh".

Monday.

I'm sorry but I don't know of anyone who genuinely enjoys Mondays (unless for some reason Monday is your payday? in that case...where do you work?). Just try to eye roll your way through it.

Tuesday.

I mean, thankfully Monday is over, but then you look at all the stuff you have to do for the rest of the week and then you're like....

Wednesday.

Don't act like you don't know what feeling I'm talking about.

Thursday.

"It's okay, just get through today. Tomorrow's Friday and then I don't have to see these people for two whole days. I'll probably reward myself with binge-watching some HGTV"

Friday.

"I'm this happy because I get to go home and sleep for the next 12 hours.....also i might get some laundry done, but we'll see."

Saturday:

This is the same reaction I have to "Hey, wanna go out?" and "Your pizza is out for delivery"

Balance people, balance.

Sunday.

Sunday, the day to be well rested and happy and healthy... and then suddenly remember that everything is coming to an end, and another work week starts in less than 24 hours.

What I would give to be a toddler again, not worry about anything except if the food I'm eating tastes good or bad (also if the dog loves me or hates me). Oh well, I guess the next best thing is to work around the little love bugs.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
