On July 31, after four long, agonizing years I (and many others) finally saw the number one boy band in the world. Liam, Niall, Harry and Louis of One Direction brought their A-game to Lucas Oil and not one attendee was left disappointed.
There are many nearly indescribable emotions you'll feel before, during, and after a 1D show that will make it one of the best nights of your life.
It first starts the morning of, when your alarm goes off at 6 a.m. and you wake up your entire household.
Then you find out they dropped a brand-spankin'-new single while you were sleeping! (And you jam out to it the whole time you're getting ready.)
Then you sprint out the door -- not without your tickets -- and drive away.
And while you're driving the anticipation of seeing your favorite boys gets to you and you awkwardly begin to sob. (You try to not ruin your makeup; gotta look good just in case they see you.)
Then you get stuck in traffic. THE HORROR. But no worries, your favorite radio station understands you and they play their brand new single!
At last! You reach the venue and meet up with all your friends and completely fangirl.
Then after more waiting....The gates finally open!
Of course, you immediately hit up the merch table and buy a super expensive T-shirt.
After justifying the $40 you spent on a shirt, you find your seats and the view is MAGNIFICENT.
You then get a taste of what's to come when the opening act performs.
And once the opening act's set ends you awkwardly wait around an hour for One Direction to perform.
FINALLY. The lights dim and the music begins...
AND THERE THEY ARE IN ALL THEIR GLORY. YOU CAN'T CONTAIN YOURSELF.
You go crazy the whole show, jumping up and down and being more physically active than you have your entire life.
But sadly the show comes to an end and the boys leave.

Even though the post-concert depression hits as soon as the lights flick back on, it's still one of the best nights of your life.
