The stress and nervousness that goes into finals week is something I wouldn't wish upon anyone. Although winter break follows right behind this dreaded week, it still takes a toll on us all. The amount of work, stu(dying), and dedication that goes into the exams is honestly astounding. We lose sleep, sometimes forget to eat, and our appearance slowly decreases as the days go on. I don't know where it comes from but as soon as our grades are on the line, we turn into completely different students. We either overthink everything now, just put more effort into preparing for our finals, or start losing our minds totally and completely. So to all the students out there going through the hardest and most stressful week/s yet, keep on going you're going to get through it.
1. You are not stressed at all and feel good about the upcoming week.
2. Then you check to see how much money you have left for the next two weeks- accepting the fact that you might be starving for a few days.
3. You go to class thinking it'll be a breeze, only to find out your professor is assigning one last assignment that's a third of your grade.
4. Then you remember about another project assigned a month ago is due in a few days.
5. You figure out your official exam schedule soon realizing you'll be at school until the last day of the week.
6. You know one of your classes is on the border, so now your grade is now riding on this exam.
7. You've contemplated dropping out of school and trying other occupations...
8. You get to that point in the week where you have been in the library more than your own room.
9. You have coffee more than once a day to keep you sane.
10. You give yourself the pep talk that you're "going to be fine" and that "everything will be okay"...even though you really don't believe it.
