I'm not sure if any of you have seen the trailer for the new television series "This Is Us" but I've watched it about 20 times. IT'S. JUST. WONDERFUL. There are many reasons why I'm excited for this show and I think other people should check it out as well.

This show seems unlike like any other show, well at least to my knowledge. It seems real, and I know they are actors and its scripted but the real life situations makes it intriguing.

In the trailer it follows the lives of different characters, but some characters are connected to one another. The trailer already has 6.5 million views and that's saying a lot. I think we all get tired of the superficial shows that depict unrealistic lifestyles or story lines at some point. Here are some reasons why I believe this show will be great.

1. Body Image Issues: The trailer follows the story line of a woman who struggles with her weight and faces the HARSH but REAL life experiences that most overweight people come across on a daily basis. This is incredibly important on so many levels. We all need to see and understand what life is like for others at times, we can't always assume something about someone just by what they look like.

2. Abandonment/Forgiveness: Another character in the show deals with finding his birth father and really understanding why his father never wanted him. But also, understanding that forgiveness exists and that second chances can be given to people.

3. Beauty of Life but also Loss: A couple in the show are new parents to twins, it shows the anxiety and nerves that go into starting a family but also dealing with the loss of a child.

4. MANDY MOORE IS BACK!!! For those of you who don't know Mandy Moore, shame on you! I've loved her since her work on movies like A Walk To Remember (DUH), Saved, Princess Diaries, etc. I'm so excited that she will be back on our television screens.

5. MILO VENTIMIGLIA AKA JESS: Do I need to say more?! He's done work on Gilmore Girls (Excited for the new series to hit Netflix, been waiting forever for that!), Heroes, The Whispers, etc.
