Netflix is a wonderful invention. Whether you're a student or not, you love Netflix and spend numerous hours binge watching your favorite show(s).
Binge-watching as defined by Urban Dictionary, is the act of "watching a TV series in like a week with multiple seasons, and getting little to no sleep."
Whether we want to admit it or not, we have all binge watched at some point in our television watching careers.
We have all experienced the following stages:
1. Testing the waters:
This is the most important phase of binge watching! This is the phase where you decide whether or not this show is worth devoting an entire week of your life to watching.
2. You decide to make the commitment to watch three episodes in one night.
This is the time where you decide that you like the show, and slowly start to become hooked on it.
3. You start to think about the show when you are not actually watching the show.
This comes when you officially get hooked on the series and you cannot help but think about what happens next.
4. You officially have not slept in two nights and you still have half of the series left. You're basically a walking zombie.
5. You're starting to hate the show because it is consuming so much of your life.
6. You finished the series and now you don't know what to do with your life.
7. You start to look for a new show. After all, what else will you do with your free time?
Happy Binge-Watching!
