I love retail therapy. It's how I rationalize my bad habit of blowing my paycheck on things I don't need. But sometimes the thought of going to the mall is absolutely daunting. You have to make yourself presentable, drive, and then take the risk of leaving disappointed. Not because they didn't have anything, but because I'm horribly picky and clothes don't seem to fit me right. The solution? Shopping from the comfort of my bed, where I may or may not have taken a shower today.
Of course, with every good thing there are struggles at hand. Here's a few I've experienced.
1. Navigating Is Awful
I'm looking for this one specific shirt and it's like finding a needle in a haystack.
2. Your Size Isn't Available
Extra extra smalls will stretch out in the wash...right? Because this is too cute to pass up.
3. The Sales Pull You In So Easily
I love and hate this at the same time. Love it because I feel like I'm saving money, but in reality I know I'm spending more than I intended. Clearance section please!
4. "Your Order Has Been Confirmed"
Let the excitement begin!
5. Checking To See When It Arrives Every Hour On The Hour
Can't you send it on a jet or something? Getting laptop stickers is really important to my overall health.
6. Getting Placed On Backorder
This feeling is worse than being dumped. This is a fact.
7. Debating If The Shipping Price Is Really Worth It
$1.20 for shipping after I spent $100? I don't know...
8. ..but if I spend 50 more bucks, I get shipping for free
This is completely logical to me. Don't argue on it. I'm such a savvy shopper.
9. Looking At Everything You Can't Buy
No I'm not crying. I just have allergies, I swear.
10. The Moment Of Joy When Your Order Finally Comes
It's everything I ever wanted and more. I can physically hold these things in my hands. There's nothing more beautiful than this.
