Throughout my life, my mother has always told me ''what you give is what you'll receive'' and only now do I realize that all along she was right. I've grown up always wondering how she could always be so positive and so happy even on the bad days. I now realize that all along she was teaching me a lesson. She taught me that being a positive person will bring me nothing but happiness.
Since realizing this, I've been more open minded and more positive towards things. I've made peace with people, I've accepted things, I've paid it forward to strangers, but most importantly I now wake up with a positive mindset and a daily goal.
Being positive and working hard to get what you want has become so important to me. Knowing that life is short and your last day on earth could be tomorrow or even today is the right excuse to live your life, to work hard for what you want and deserve and to simply be more positive.
The last 2 and a half years have been quite rough for me with my previous job and college. I was constantly surrounded by negativity and complaints daily, that I realized I had enough and it was time for a major change. Fast forward to now and I can say that I look forward to going to work to learn all sorts of new things and to see my new coworkers.
A simple change of mindset and a load of positivity can really change your life for the better.
