You're wrong.

To The Person Who Doesn't Think They Are Good Enough
Amanda Jayne Sankey

You are good enough. You have always been good enough. And you will always be good enough.

You deserve everything that you want and you deserve to be happy. Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

You are good enough for that program you want to get into. You are good enough for that job you want. You are good enough for that girl you think about asking out. You are good enough for that boy you see on the way to class. You are good enough to make your parents proud. You are good enough to live the life you want.

Way too often people feel inadequate. People feel like they don’t deserve the things they want, but you do. You 100 percent do.

You are not a perfect person by any means. You are flawed. You make mistakes on a daily basis. You think, “How could anyone ever want to be with me?” “I’m not good enough,” or, “I don’t deserve them.” But that couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Sometime in your life someone said something to make you believe that you aren’t magical. That you aren’t a phenomenal human being. And now that is what you see when you look in the mirror. You see someone who will never compare, that can never compete. But the thing is, you don’t have to. Life isn’t a competition. Life isn’t about letting things or people slip away because “they could do better than me.” Chase what you want. And if you aren’t meant to have it, you won’t catch it.

God made you. He thought you up in His head before you were ever made. He thought the world needed you. Not someone like you, but you. The most beautiful, perfect, good, pure being thought you were necessary. He made you to live your life to its full potential; to be all you can be. And He made you exactly how He wants you. He thinks you are beautiful. He thinks you are worth having in this world. God thinks that you are good enough.

It’s time to stop thinking that you aren’t worthy for the things in this world. It’s time to start going after them before they get away. It’s time to realize that you are more than good enough for them.

You are more than good enough.

You are imperfect. You don’t have all of the answers. You mess up. You fail God every day. But the beautiful thing is, He loves you anyway. And if you are good enough for the king of kings to love you, you are plenty good enough for any person. DON’T EVER THINK YOU AREN’T. There isn’t a person in this world that you “aren’t good enough” for. There isn’t a person in this world that is “better than you.”

So stop just flirting with that girl, and ask her out. Stop just looking at that job application, and apply. Stop hiding who you are, and let yourself shine. Go after what you want.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
