As individuals we hold so much power. It's basically limitless. We are capable of so much more than we ever give ourselves credit for.

However, the reigns of our talents and of our unique characteristics greatly differ from person to person. We hold powers in which others strive for, wish they could encounter but never will gain the chance.

We are unique in every step we take on the sidewalk and breath we take in on a harsh morning run. We laugh at different tones, take our Starbucks different than the person in front of us, and we have a different intellect. We are meant to contrast in our ways of life and ways of thinking.

We are never meant to be our best friend, our smart colleague, or our mother or father. Our fate in the person we choose to be is in our sole hands. Never forget that.

It is ok to color outside of the boundaries that are considered standardized and appropriate for our generation. In fact, if anything we should be daring to reconstruct those boundaries and build our own expectations and appreciations of ourselves. Block all of those who discourage your ambitions, living in the past moments we cannot change and observing others only hurts our happiness and goals, every day is a chance to remember that.

All of us are walking novels, our minds filled with freeways of thought catalogs adrift in the breeze of our stress. As Stephen King said,” quiet people have the loudest minds.” And regardless if you choose to speak more than others, you still hold the capability to influence and impact someone with the power of your words.

Some take advantage of these talents we possess; we should all take the opportunity to dig further into our intellect, to discover our own telepathies and aspirations that have yet to be uncovered.

We all have amounts of knowledge, similar and varying because we all in excel in certain subjects at distant levels. We can create a community and come together to unite all that we have to offer.

See life from a new perspective. Take down the lens your currently seeking it through and replace it with a new one. Imagine your life from a divergent perspective something a little more offbeat than you are used to. Examine how it affects you as an individual, how it drives you to do something in which you have never recognized or consulted.

We are accomplished people, we could learn so much more about ourselves if we took the time to contemplate on our own actions rather than others.

Truly, we are all responsible for the way the world, our world goes on. We have an established sense of our self, but I dare you to dig a little deeper.

Everyone, including myself has a personality inside of them hidden from the rest, hidden in the depths of our closet sealed with complete permanence for the sole fact of feeling shamed.

Who is to say we can be shamed for being nothing but ourselves? No one.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
