Introduction: Bo Burnham video:
Very funny Bo Burnham satire parody on country is true. One genre known to gather up your expensive boots, cover in Mississippi mud and complain about forty hour week jobs. Clearly you can sell those expensive boots and not waste money from your honest day of living. He abrupt stadium country music as not honest that causes many posers to steal the genre’s reputation for wealth and power. It is not the only genre that panders and makes wealth. Maybe rap is the most pander genre that will creep up every freaking fan because it's confession to want large loads of money. Maybe it is the pop genre releasing more airtime and the majority of talent shows have singers releasing hot billboard songs. What genre makes the most money and does having that much money mean they have the most pander audience in their culture? Play a little devil's advocate in the sense, are the fans pandering more in the music market than artists within a common genre?
I see the more popular a genre has established in the music market, the more likely chance listeners over time will drawn to it unconsciously. Deserve more time with the notes drawn out in the public. Music history tells us genres will change because different demands from the fans produces and writes new material to prefer within the genre. However the argument is extended to wonder how can a genre that established its roots with honesty claim to have formed a money grabbing scheme due to its profit making artists or the fans?
Let's start to know what genre endorses more than the rest of the genres. Before I get into the genre analysis, it is fair to make the prediction the genre that endorses more is rap. The wide mainstream of rap music existed after the 90's with acts like MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice. It did not look like rap music was very intellectual at that moment but now the new age of "krunk" and what I call dizzy rap music (you have to get drunk to get into it) takes over the music agenda like no tomorrow. There are plenty of artists in the genre that find new creative tools to increase the existence of an impressive genre but most I strongly argue are collectivity subbing in awful beats and rappers claiming they are the best. All of those are lame and pathetic. The strong sign of pandering. For the sake of this argument to make it fair, at least three genres are in order to conclude what genre panders more and does that genre have to make more money to pander?
Rap music has taken many stabs to the coast rivals, murders, gang violence, and poetic justice but lived a time full of greedy notes getting to the uneducated fan in the genre to buy more copies. According to the Top Tens, the website has a top ten list of the worst rappers of all time:
http://www.thetoptens.com/worst-rappers/
In this list, the number worst rapper is Lil Wayne. His position is based on critics talking Wayne and his music. At first I disagreed with their statements for I have listened to A Mille and Drop the World which are iconic songs in the artists right. Although he is considered a top rapper and a spits mad fire on the mic, music critics see Lil Wayne as a joke and garnishes the simple persona for a rapper talking about chasing the boot, racing up hundreds of money to claim the first trillionaire title in rap, and prove his thug life can earn him power and respect. One critic said 'Wayne used to be good. Now he rappin about the same stuff in all his songs' and the comments go on like another critic says 'this man ruined hip hop... don't believe me, listen to any of his songs. He calls himself a "rapper" because he can put 2 and 2 together?'. I am not dissing Lil Wayne for I still believe his contribution to the rap genre can enlighten future artists. However, I can understand why others can think so. The track Poke Her Face does present what the critics say this rapper can not accomplish: integrity and street knowledge. A typical rap song about Lil Wayne is told not to harass a woman because violating her body is a horrible action but he can ask for the girl to do other sexual actions and considered okay. One line "She said don't call her a di&*, but that's gay" is very shameful for Lil Wayne. To consider an offensive slur to describe how a woman can easily do whatever she wants and than he states it is gay it is very ignorant. The lesbian is not the same as gay in male terms. Arguing for this has this explanation homosexuality in general is gay actions but the reference is offensive to all who are gay. Lesbian is not gay, and gay is not lesbian. Period! Besides his lyrics, Lil Wayne's appreance is grilled gold-platted teeth, tattoos on every inch of his body, red cap to represent his gang, and tear tattoos to let others know he killed someone. It is not fake appearance for Wayne said on ABC interview he is a thug and will die a thug. He will never change his opinions nor his persona because he wont stand to care how others change him. Very similar words from one of the greatest of all time: Tupac Shakur. I wont claim Lil Wayne as a the best poser alive because saying this you will never understand his album Carter 3 meant to the whole music world but I do think Lil Wayne does need to change his game and bring the most revolting yet Q-tip peace of mind lyrics on the table. The rap game is changing.
The same goes country music. According to LA Weekly:

The number one country group argued to ruin country music is Rascal Flatts. I adore this band as one my favorite childhood memories. It is actually on of my long time dreams to meet with them at least once. However this list can't Rascal Flatts for I think Toby Keith is number one instead. His attitude to not care how people thought of him, the great America under attack, and sharing humility in the early 2000's are the greatest moments of his career. But what dug under six feet under was Red Solo Cup and Redneck Paradise. Those tracks I knew were the worst tracks any country artists will never sing and perform. Toby Keith was asked what he thought about Red Solo Cup,
“‘Red Solo Cup’ is like a squirrel loose in a church house. We can play it in an office and then play five other songs, give it an hour, walk out, and you’d hear the receptionist singing it,”
Wow basically write a catchy song and knowing it is really addicting. Does it have anything for the music listener like maybe the Red Solo Cup hides a metaphor how booze relates to a good time? No where in the song it makes this comparison. It is really say to you that without a Red Solo Cup you wont have a party. I actually like Blue Solo Cups better. After all I am a University Wildcat fan anyway.

Pop music is the most mainstream genre that is bound to spark so much pandering. How many pop songs do people have sex? Is there are specific number? Does anybody why the number is so big? No. Pop music for as far back in the 1960's it started to create a rush of teenage energy to fool around. Now it is the exact same thing but more lights equal to a rave party. The true meaning to have a pop sound is a odd mix of what genres you are pulling inside the band and the rest of the audience. Taking the Rolling Stones and the Beatles are arguably the greatest pop groups ever alongside Abba. But there are a few exceptional bad taste pop music that ruined the ears and likely oozed the radio stations with annoying green slime out of the turn dials. Another list of the worst pop acts is provided from NME.com
http://www.nme.com/photos/the-20-worst-pop-acts-in...
And they saying Vanilla Ice, and Rebecca Black are counted as one of the worst pop acts in history. I strongly agree but number one is Justin Bieber. I'm sorry ladies but I do think Justin is not really all talented. He does have a good voice, he is a great drummer, but that is not the point. All of the talent you think Justin is filled is not the same talent as a homeless man begging for money after playing a busted violin. What I am saying is the whole idea for people to stay attracted to an artist because their looks is predictable and I will judge anyone who will fond over the artist thinking he is the best in the world. That is like saying John Mayer looks better standing with a guitar than playing it. Which from all of these lists of worst artists, I sense a obvious similarity is appearance sells most of the time. How on earth can Justin perform so much with die heart fans? How can douchbag Toby Keith go high on the billboard charts? It is appearance and it sells more than the music itself.
Appearance does matter to present an explanation as to why the music is creating the void. Many metal heads wont expect a death group wearing pink shirts and piano neck ties? No it is black, black, and more black. The greatest rock star to establish how appearance is more important than just the music is David Bowie. His act was a theater performance taking influences from Japanese kabuki fashion. It caused a lot of mass hysteria as how David Bowie portrays his sexuality and freedom in music. A glam rock figure does this only to grab conflicts in the general public only to realize it is hard to cross the public boundaries but easy to accept the taboos. However, whatever appearance these artists hold do not reflect an imbedded style or culture to their fashion statements rather selling themselves to make a profit. And we have discussed Lil Wayne's way of style was to approach his thug life and dying for the gang. It goes the same way for style in country where you need to have cowboy boots and a big buckle on your belt to know you are bad ass. Now the real question is if the purpose is to impress the genre, why do you have to play along the same fashion trends in the genre? Is any artist proud to where the same fashion statement over and over again. How many times must I see another stupid Solja Boy Tell Em video where he going to bust a cap into someone and challenge the hottest rapper he is a better gangster if he has a gun in his hand? Why build on a fake image within the genre when you know the genre is more than just power and guns but complications and hardship. Feeling good when the bad times role. Innovate your flow rather where you aim your pistol and go.
And musicians do control portions of the fashion industry like Kayne West, Rhianna, and Gwen Stefani. There is a huge difference to start a clothing line and spending the money to create a fake appearance. Rhianna has made her distinct fashion scenes very clear and Gwen Stefani as well. But having rappers like 2 Chainz or Jason Alden wearing 3,000 dollar cowboy boots there is no point. Fans are buying the brands of chains and diamond cut cowboy boots.
But what is the most expensive genre? On if it is the most expensive does it pander the most?
For this research we are taking top earning musicians from Forbes.com list inside Wrap.com to determine from 2016 to see how many artists or bands belong to the most accountable genre. After that, we need to see the Billboard chart to visualize how many of the first album are tallied to one genre to prove which is the most expensive genre based on net worth and gross number of albums sold.
http://www.thewrap.com/15-highest-paid-music-stars...
Pop grosses out rock, rap, country, and all the other genres you can think on the top of your head. It grosses at 549.5 million dollars combining all of the pop musicians on the list. The most expensive musical act on the list is Taylor Swift at the moment. Since pop music now is the highest grossing genre, does it appear more on the Billboard Hot 100? I looked at the most recent billboard chart and noted how many songs were labeled into genres.
http://www.billboard.com/charts/hot-100
There are 35 rap/hip-hop songs on the hot 100 chart. So the most expensive genre pop, does not rule the charts. The Billboards charts builds the gap as more airplay is handed to rap/hip-hop music and pop music is the most expensive act. It all boils down to one thing. Fans!
Who streams the music on Spotify, Pandora, or apple Music? Fans control the demand of music distribution for the music market is very limited to whatever tunes can set the customer's taste in notes or catchy premises. It connects mostly to what generation of people are keen to love these songs on the trending the Billboard Chart. It is the younger generation of course because they spend most of the money from their party days into anthems getting them turnt up. Not to mention the money they get are from parents. The pumped younger generation does not have to release steam in parties but can enjoy the unusual music and connect more their soul. Reggae fills the positive vibes or metal cures to abhor joy around the world. The point is the most streamed music is rap music and there is a connection to how people use the genre to party or blast their speakers for the loudest bass and drums. Not to mention the growing rise of fashion for the genre over at Spencer's, colorful hoodies to represent gangs, Hot Topic, and Journeys. All of these fashion trends carry the substance of smoke filled rap heard today and not alluding a better tomorrow to change the music. Another to blame is some songs are used a lot through social media like Vine, Instagram, and YouTube. Everyone has done the mannequin challenge last year with the song "Black Beatles". That song went up Second on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts. It is because the mannequin challenge strengthen the song and wonder through social media to have fans pander everyone. Yes I said the fans pander genres. Don't believe me? Why was Red Solo Cup so popular? That stupid cup is found in parties and festivals which a lot of young people go to and targeting this song "accidently" does not sound very logical. It went up high and now comes the parties with the song playing in the background with drunk idiots. How many times must I hear Maroon 5 bust out another sex/love song on the radio. They have trended those songs for the past five years and Adam Levine has admitted he is a recovered sex addict but the young crowd will see the music and label your presence. Yes Adam. Unless you can change your taste in lyric content than Maroon 5 will thrive again as a great rock powerhouse.
Hate to say the fans today will separate themselves into two categories: those who mirror and those who innovate. Mirroring is the behavior in which one person subconsciously imitates the gesture, speech pattern, or attitude of another. Explains the obvious rap game genre, the pop singers reaching the highest notes possible, and the country artist talking about the large ass truck they can buy.
State the whole thing when people assume the fans are always right deal is very true to the point where they actually are. They have no idea how the genre can change to fit the most common outcomes in the genre. How to stop this monstrosity is the artists have to think ahead faster than the record companies producing dishonest albums and the fans will have to learn from other artists who expose the terror of the music industry. Let alone the fans can destroy the genre at any moment to copy the wrong artists and the great artists are not copied for a true reason: nobody can.
