It shouldn't come as a surprise when I say I looooveChristmas. My closest friends and family can all vouch for me when I say that my enthusiasm goes over the roof when it comes holiday season. There are plenty of festivities we can all partake in that only feel right when done during the Christmas time: ice skating outdoors under twinkling lights, sipping hot cocoa with marshmallows, rushing to buy presents for your loved ones, watching "The Polar Express", and so much more.

However, I have to say that the one thing that truly puts me in the festive mood is Christmas music and being able to share the joy of listening to classics (and non-classics) with friends and family. With that said, I have compiled my favorite Christmas tunes into a list below. And trust me when I say that these will have you smiling, dancing and in full-on holiday mode in no time!

1. "The Christmas Song" by Nat King Cole

2. "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" by Andy Williams

3. "Carol Of The Bells" by The Bird And The Bee

This rendition of a Christmas classic gives me serious chills.

4. "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" by Brenda Lee

5. "Oh Santa!" by Mariah Carey

6. "Cold December Night" by Michael Buble

7. "The Christmas Waltz" by She & Him

There's just something special about Zoey Deschanel's voice.

8. "Sleigh Ride" by The Ronettes

9. "Underneath the Tree" by Kelly Clarkson

P.S. Can we take a moment to admire how beautiful Kelly Clarkson looks in this video? Talk about Christmas gown goals!

10. "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey

11. "Where Are You Christmas" by Faith Hill

12. "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" by Bruce Springsteen

Don't deny the excitement that arises every time you hear this song come on the radio.

13. "Grown-Up Christmas List" by Amy Grant

14. "Last Christmas" by Wham!

15. "Little Drummer Boy" by Pentatonix

16. "The Christmas Shoes" by Newsong

Warning: You might need a box of tissues for this one.

17. "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" by John Lennon and Yoko Ono

18. "Baby It's Cold Outside" by Idina Menzel and Michael Buble

Could there be a better pairing for this duet piece?

19. "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" by Frank Sinatra

20. "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" by Dean Martin

21. "White Christmas" by Bing Crosby

22. "Do You Hear What I Hear" by Martina McBride

23. "Believe" by Josh Groban

"The Polar Express" is a must-watch during the holidays.

24. "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" by Ella Fitzgerald

And just for kicks...

25. "Mistletoe" by Justin Bieber

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
