Have you ever read Dante's Inferno? Well, I just recently reread the classic tale, and I thought "Hey, why don't I put some modern people in the inferno and justify why!" So, this is what I came up with...enjoy.
Circle 1: (Limbo)
- In all honesty, there is no way to put any modern day people into this layer. This layer is essentially set for those who were born before the time of Christ and as it stands today, we have all been born in the AD period opposed to the BC period of time.
Circle 2: (Lust)
- Kim Kardashian…I mean this is basically what her career is based off of *cough* Ray Jay+Kim Kay=career boost *cough* Actually, we can probably just lump the whole Kardashian family in here.
Circle 3: (Gluttony)
- As much as I love the whole Honey Boo Boo gang, I have to sentence them to this layer of Hell. They are eating fools up in that house, and it shows through the whole family from Mama June to baby Alana.
Circle 4: (Greed)
- Donald Trump is the greediest man in New York. Who needs that many towers? All he talks about is money and people taking stuff from him. Well, Mr. Trump, you’re going in the FIRE! (Get it?)
Circle 5: (Anger)
- Alec Baldwin deserves to be in this layer due to his outrage that has been exploited by the media. His anger ranges from family issues to verbal anger assaults on the paparazzi. There are many people who lose their temper from time to time, but no one does it quite like Alec.
Circle 6: (Heresy)
- Perez Hilton—his whole career is based on his opinion on celebrities. His job is to gossip, and that is heresy. He spreads false rumors and doesn't seem to care about who they hurt.
Circle 7: (Violence)
- Chris Brown. He deserves to be in this layer due to his assault on Rhianna. Many people may be violent, but the way Chris treated Rhianna is unacceptable.
Circle 8: (Fraud)
- Teresa Giudice, a Real Housewife of New Jersey, has been sentenced by the U.S. government to jail for Tax Fraud, Tax Evasion, and many more types of fraud, and for that reason alone she inevitably winds up in this circle of hell...although she could probably have made it to other circles as well.
Circle 9: (Treachery)
- Simon Cowell deserves to go to this layer of hell because he slept with his best friend’s wife and had a baby by her. I hope his knife is okay from stabbing his friend in the back like that. Are there plenty of people in Hollywood that have slept around? Sure, but have you seen Cowell on any reality competition show ever? Treacherous.
Overall, Hollywood is basically a modern day Inferno. There are my picks for each circle, but honestly, there are hundreds for each. Who would you pick to go in? Let me know in the comments!
