So long as we succumb to the fallacies that the world so vividly presents to us, we will continue to develop two separate entities in our being. The mind and soul will endlessly cross paths along one’s life, and although the soul is the more virtuous of the two, the former does in fact hold a decent amount of useful knowledge that the soul can learn from.
When attempting to discover one’s purpose, one will always turn to the soul for unworldly guidance. As the soul will emancipate one from one’s obedience to the mind and the glories it so frailly admires, the mind does inhabit ideas that are worth some value. Acting through your soul would make you the wisest form of your internal self. Your soul will guide you to the desperately sought after mental aspirations. However, when acting through your soul in a relatively shallow world, the soul will cease to assist you in gliding your way through.
The mind was made especially for these circumstances. If one allows the mind to roam around the worldly pleasures and concern itself with whatever comes along with these sensations, then it will be able to grasp the purest of cognitions and essentially infiltrate it to the soul. As we allow our soul to grow, it will learn to survive in the world which is so unfamiliar to it.
As the soul starts to develop an understanding of the world that the mind is so concerned about, the two entities will form a connection that will allow one to use both of their abilities to weave through the obstacles that one might face. This process will also make one more decisive in times of crucial decisions.
The idea behind this is that even though the soul will appear much more superior than the mind, we have much to learn from the latter. The process of both of the entities complementing each other will result in a more refined being.
