Don’t be fooled, Instagram is not just for women. In fact, there is a long list of Insta-famous men that are inspiring followers through a lens. The social media app is one of my favorites, because it allows users to virtually create their own identity through artistry. Over the past year, I have watched my feed turn into an aesthetically pleasing escape. One second my mind is being taken to the serenity of a beach, and the next I am walking the streets of London. Sure, this habit can be a bit superficial and plausible, but it sparks my imagination, an action that adult brains seem to neglect. However, these guys can help:
1. Jay Alvarrez
It is only fitting that I put Jay at the top of this list, seeing that he has 4 million followers. In case you question his authenticity, don’t worry, he has one of the special Instagram check marks to prove his verified status. He is the ultimate beach guy, six-pack and all.
2. Kiel James Patrick
You might know him better as KJP, the founder of an ultra-preppy apparel sight. His page embodies all things American, including trips around New England, memories of JFK and recently, golden retriever puppies. Kiel and his wife, Sarah, host an ‘Adventure Camp’ for interns during the summer. It is easy to see that these two entrepreneurs can take a break (a lot of them) from the office, and explore with young adults.
3. Charles McBryde Campbell
Fraternity boy meets Great Gatsby. That statement sums up Charles Campbell. His Instagram page is an array of old homes, fancy cars, expensive suits and gentleman-like charm.
4. David Clark
Husband to the Insta-famous Amber Fillerup Clark, David has quite the expectations to meet. His keen eye for photography makes his page easy to look at. Add in the couple’s adorable children, golden retriever and New York lifestyle, and he easily becomes one of my most liked men on Instagram.
5. Scott Eastwood
If you aren’t already, go ahead and click that follow button for Scott Eastwood. His posts are not filtered, staged or artistic in any way. However, his good looks easily compensate for the lack of artistry. With over 1.5 million followers, it is safe to say that people agree, and in my opinion, find relation in his normalcy.
