Dreaming of standing in front of the Eiffel Tower is on most people's' bucket list, I know it was on mine. You see famous landmarks in magazines, in film, in paintings, and you can only imagine the day you get to actually see it in person. But then you finally do get to see these places and they're so much more spectacular, and huge, than you thought they would be.

This past weekend I went to Paris and I got to see the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and the Arc de Triumphe, and they were so beautiful. Getting off the Metro I turned the corner and saw the Eiffel Tower for the first time, and I teared up several times at its beauty. We spent so much time taking all kinds of pictures, just basking in its presence. We spent a lot of our time around it within the two days we were there, its just so amazing. Also, the ice cream around the Eiffel Tower is absolutely amazing that I had three cones while I was there.

The Arc de Truimphe and Notre Dame were also so amazing. In person, you get to see the detail up close and I loved seeing the surrounding areas you wouldn't get to see in pictures.

While it is true that Paris is a very dirty city, I mean there was trash everywhere, the city is absolutely beautiful. And despite always hearing that the French are rude, everyone was extremely nice to us! Make Paris one of your next vacations, because it is an amazing city.
