To the Little Sister I Never Had
Han,
I’m not even completely sure where to start. Do I start by bragging and telling you how proud I am of you? Or do I start with how thankful I am for you? It’s so hard to pick a place.
I cannot thank you enough for being the little sister that I never had. For letting me take you under my wing and letting me grow with you. You made my senior year so unbelievably amazing and I hope that I can make yours the best I possibly can, being 3 hours away. Whenever I needed you or was just lonely, you were there. I could never thank you enough. There are not many people I let see me be weak but you are one I know I don’t have to keep my hard shell on around.
Let me tell you something I often forget to remind you that I think you need to hear more: I am so proud of you. The person you have become, the student you strive to be, everything. It makes me so happy to see how determined you are and how amazing of a heart you have. I love the fact that when you come to me and I give you advice, you take it. You don’t let it in one ear and out the other. You are such an amazing girl Han; I never want you to think differently. Have you made mistakes? Yes, but haven’t we all? The point is you realize your mistakes and work your butt off to fix them. You have the mind and soul of a truly wonderful person. Don’t change Han.
Thank You for allowing me to be a part of your life. For knowing you can come to be in any situation. You gave me hope when the days got rough and I could never thank you enough. You saw me crumble but still choose to rely on me. You don’t realize the strength it gives me when I know I have someone to be strong for. Continue to be you and please continue to bless my life. You are one of a kind Hannah and I will never turn my back on you.
Stay Gorgeous, beautiful soul!
Love you forever,
Your non-biological big sister,
Rach
