Year 3 of working at this beautiful place that I cannot name, because on Thursday I signed a form saying I could be fired for anything negative I say about the company. Nothing in this article will bash or make you feel any different about that business establishment. I’m just telling the world some of the struggles all of us fast food employee’s deal with. If you have never worked in fast food you will not understand, any of the pains I share with you. Enjoy.

Schedule

Problems:

Tina, Gene and Louise never know when their dad will need them to help out with the family business the same goes for fast food employees.

There isn’t set days that you will work each week, so planning for something a week before doesn’t always work. One week you’ll work Monday-Friday and off all week end, or you’ll work 30 hours just Friday-Sunday! There isn’t much you or anyone else can really do about it.

Customers:

Teddy and Mort are Bob’s loyal customers and sometimes they get on Bob’s nerves just like any other customer they can really make you mad.

The number one thing that’s gets me while I am at work is when the working men come in and make a bigger mess than any other group of people. They act as if it is against the law to throw away their trays away and I promise their not going to push in their chairs. Even though some people will get your nerves, others will melt your heart. The customers are some of the sweetest people! I will never understand is why you come to eat in your church clothes and cuss me out because you believe the prices are too high. (Little fishy right)

How to order at a Drive Thru 101:

The Belchers may not have a drive-thru but they understand the struggle.

We can’t hear you and you can’t hear me, it’s the biggest struggle of the drive thru. When you can’t hear me I have to yell, I am sorry. In turn ordering a 1,000 things at the window only hurts you and everyone around you! The drive thru is suppose to be a fast thing, not like coming inside where you can take your time, but we are all there to serve you so keep ordering.

Coworkers:

Like Gene having to be in a burger suit, sometimes you feel as if you are putting on a show to help sale food, and Gene can’t do that without his partners in crime Tina and Louise.

When you work in a fast food restaurant you meet some of the weirdest people, but at the end of the day you love them. You work with these people at least once a week sometimes everyday. I have made some great friends; even my best friend and I work together. (I love you boss) I will be forever grateful for the lessons I’ve learned from some of my coworkers.

If you haven’t noticed it takes a lot to work with the public. People will cuss you out and then ask for something for free. You learn a lot about yourself and how to treat others when you enter a fast food restaurant. Be aware of how you treat other, because one day you could be working behind the counter.

Peace out Buttercups.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
