College is four years (or more if we are being honest) of growth, learning, new friendships, new experiences, mental breakdowns, laughter, tears, late nights and lots of coffee. Everyone has a different experience with college, but there are things that are similar for every college student. I had never watched "Blue Mountain State" before college, but my college roommate introduced me to it. So, here is the life of a college student as told by BMS (if only college was as dramatic as BMS).
Lots of tears.
Where do I even start? Late nights of finishing projects and studying for tests, stress, bad grades and whatever else can go wrong equals lots of tears for college students.
Dreading the words "class is mandatory."
There is nothing worse than getting to your class on the first day of class and hearing your professor say that class is mandatory.
Getting annoyed when people post on social media that they got a 4.0.
Okay, we get that you are smart, but please do not rub it in our face.
Rewarding yourself for every little accomplishment.
Oh, I studied for 10 minutes? That means I should reward myself with an hour of Netflix. It is the little things that get us through the day people.
The pure happiness you feel when you finally get a good grade on something you worked hard on.
There is no better feeling than getting a good grade on the project or test that you stayed up all night studying for.
Rolling your eyes when you get asked where you are from and what your major is for the millionth time.
Finally feeling at home when you find an organization that you love.
There is nothing better than finding your home away from home at college. It is great to meet new people and find the sorority, fraternity, club, athletic team, or organization that you can be a part of.
Making sure you give yourself a pep talk for every interview, presentation and test you have.

Not knowing what you want to do with your future.
You might be in college, but that does not mean that you know what your future plans are. It is incredibly stressful when you have absolutely no idea what you are going to do with your life.
